I’ll say this one more time, and then I’ll put it away for a while, but I really don’t understand this getting older thing. It was never part of the plan, actually. I’m not sure what to do about it. Before you say “nothing, John!” just keep in mind that I’m not ready to put the puzzle down. I like thinking there’s a solution within my grasp. Makes me feel like I’m in control. I work it out like a math problem. I haven’t begun to find the answer, but I like toying with the numbers. I think my whole generation feels that way.
